Husqvarna motorcycle tires and rims

HusqvarnaTire Sizes

Most Huskys used Trelleborg T544 tires from 1969 thru the late 70's and rim sizes were WM1 and WM3 for this period.
Akront lip rims (yellow sticker) were used 1970 thru 75, then phased into Akront lipless alloy rims (green sticker)76-78.

brand and model of current offerings that replace vintage tyres
weight of tires - best choice considering all aspects
weight of tubes - something to consider?
weight of rims/spokes - what and where to get trick stuff
heavy duty tires/tubes for enduro or desert
use of inserts to replace tubes - foam or balls
rim locks - best , lightest, replace with screws
cross 2, cross3, cross 4 lace patterns
conical hubs, spool hubs
drill patterns in rims
