Miura Air Conditioning - cold air for a hot Lamborghini - Condizionatore

The drive for the compressor is
taken from the crank shaft by using the existing style starter/crank
gear set. The cover is heavily modified by carving out a niche between
the clutch and the starter gears to allow the mounting of a double
groove pulley on an extended starter gear shaft. This back side view of
the cover compares the differences between an early P400 cover
and a late P400SV with ac cover.
Providing a suitable compressor drive is the key to this Miura air
conditioning system. Once this drive is accomplished, the rest of the
system is quite easily designed and installed.

shaped pocket to allow a pulley to be squeezed into a tight location.
